Consumers’ role in health insurance rate reviewsOregon encourages public interest in its health insurance rate review process. We review and must approve the rates for small employers with 2-50 employees, for people who get insurance on their own through individual plans and for consumers with portability plans. We do not review rates for larger employers (51+ employees). Citizens can view rate request documents online and offer comment within 30 days of the posting.
