State revokes Woodburn insurance agent's licenses

SALEM – The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) has revoked the insurance agent's license of Brian K. Dusenberry for violations of the Oregon Insurance Code. DCBS also revoked the firm license of Dusenberry's Woodburn insurance agency, Fairway Insurance Agency.

An investigation by the Insurance Division of DCBS found that Dusenberry had transacted insurance since July 1995 without being licensed as an Oregon individual insurance agent.

Fairway Insurance Agency violated Oregon law by transacting insurance without an agency license and by authorizing Dusenberry to transact insurance on its behalf.

Individual agents and agencies must be licensed by the Insurance Division to sell or service insurance policies in Oregon.
