State suspends Creswell insurance agent’s licenses

The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) has suspended the insurance agent’s licenses of a Creswell man, Bradford S. Caldeira, for 90 days for violating Oregon insurance regulations.

Both Caldeira’s individual agent’s license and the license of his agency, Caldeira Insurance Solutions, Inc. in Eugene, are suspended from July 1 to Sept. 30. During the suspension, Caldeira is prohibited from selling or servicing insurance policies in
Oregon.

An investigation by the Insurance Division of DCBS found that Caldeira:

  • Misrepresented information on an application for Medicare supplement insurance.
  • Made false statements to the Insurance Division investigator.
  • Failed to maintain proper records of an insurance transaction.

Caldeira is the only licensed agent employed by Caldeira Insurance Solutions, which is located at 134 E. 13th, #3, in Eugene.
